Vivienne Westwood started in London in the 1970s together with Malcolm McLaren, with the shops Let It Rock, SEX and Seditionaries on the King's Road that dressed the punk movement. Her own collections from the 1980s onwards reworked historical tailoring, corsetry, tartan and the orb logo, and she showed in Paris from the 1990s. The lines include Gold Label, Red Label, Anglomania and Man. Vivienne Westwood died in 2022 and Andreas Kronthaler continues the house.

The AKAIBU archive holds Vivienne Westwood from the 1980s and 1990s, including Fall Winter 1991 and Spring Summer 1993, with Seditionaries and Westwood McLaren pieces, printed shirts and tops, orb logo pieces, corsets and bustiers, a portrait dress, outerwear and accessories.

Westwood pieces carry the label of their line and period, which helps to date them. We state the line and the season in each listing when it can be confirmed.

Every piece in this collection is examined and authenticated in house in Vienna before it is listed. We ship worldwide with tracked delivery, and our showroom in Vienna can be visited by appointment. If you own Vivienne Westwood pieces you would like to sell, see Consign with AKAIBU. If you are looking for a specific piece that is not listed, our Sourcing service can search for it.
