Dolce & Gabbana was founded in Milan in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The house became known for Sicilian references, corsetry, animal prints, tailoring and, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, a sportier and more aggressive side with cargo pants, parachute and bondage details, metal hardware, Swarovski embellishment and logo pieces. The D&G diffusion line ran until 2012.

The AKAIBU archive concentrates on the years around 2000, with the largest groups from Spring Summer 2003 and Fall Winter 2003 and further pieces from Fall Winter 1994, Spring Summer 2000 and Fall Winter 2017. It includes cargo and parachute pants, bondage pieces, leather jackets and skirts, patchwork and floral pieces, logo items, belts, knitwear, denim and footwear.

Dolce & Gabbana garments carry the season on the inner label and are made in Italy. We state the season in each listing when it can be confirmed.

Every piece in this collection is examined and authenticated in house in Vienna before it is listed. We ship worldwide with tracked delivery, and our showroom in Vienna can be visited by appointment. If you own Dolce & Gabbana pieces you would like to sell, see Consign with AKAIBU. If you are looking for a specific piece that is not listed, our Sourcing service can search for it.
