Berluti was founded in Paris in 1895 by the Italian shoemaker Alessandro Berluti and is known for its patinated leather. The house belongs to LVMH and started a full ready to wear line in 2011. Haider Ackermann was creative director from 2016 to 2018 and brought his draped, richly coloured aesthetic to the house in the Fall Winter 2017, Spring Summer 2018 and Fall Winter 2018 collections. Kris Van Assche followed from Spring Summer 2019.

The AKAIBU archive concentrates on the Haider Ackermann era, with the largest group from Fall Winter 2017 and further pieces from Spring Summer 2018, Fall Winter 2018 and Spring Summer 2019. It includes leather and suede bombers, shearling, wool coats, trousers, boots, bags and accessories. A number of pieces are runway samples and prototypes, which is stated in the description.

Berluti garments of this period carry the season code on the inner label, and the leather goods carry the house stamp. We check these details on every piece before listing.

Every piece in this collection is examined and authenticated in house in Vienna before it is listed. We ship worldwide with tracked delivery, and our showroom in Vienna can be visited by appointment. If you own Berluti pieces you would like to sell, see Consign with AKAIBU. If you are looking for a specific piece that is not listed, our Sourcing service can search for it.
