Vetements

Vetements was founded in Paris in 2014 by Demna and Guram Gvasalia as a collective and became the most discussed label of the mid 2010s with oversized hoodies, reworked denim, exaggerated proportions, collaborations with heritage brands and ironic lettering. Demna left in 2019 to focus on Balenciaga, and Guram Gvasalia has led the label since.

The AKAIBU archive holds Vetements from Fall Winter 2016 to Fall Winter 2020, with the largest group from Fall Winter 2017. It includes oversized hoodies and t shirts, reversible and hooded bombers, extended brim caps, raw hem pieces and items with lettering and prints.

Vetements garments carry the season on the inner label and are made in various countries depending on the piece. We state the season in each listing when it can be confirmed.
