Greg Lauren FW2019 Reconstructed Coat

A hooded coat by Greg Lauren from Fall Winter 2019, labelled on the care tag as the Mixed Herringbone Hooded Artist Coat. The body is pieced together from horizontal bands of grey wool, brown herringbone tweed and plain brown cloth, each panel joined with exposed, fraying seams that leave the raw edges visible on the outside. A black hood with a drawstring sits on a contrasting dark collar, the front closes with dark horn buttons, and the inside is fully lined in black. The composition reads 50 percent wool, 45 percent rayon and 5 percent nylon, made in Los Angeles, with the original hangtags still attached. Unworn. Size 3 on the Greg Lauren scale, which corresponds to roughly a size L.
