Visvim was founded in Tokyo in 2000 by Hiroki Nakamura. The label combines Japanese and American workwear, folk textiles and indigo dyeing with modern materials and handcraft, and has become a reference for Japanese menswear. Lines include the main Visvim collection, the women's line WMV and the Indigo Camping Trailer stores.

The AKAIBU archive holds Visvim from Fall Winter 2012 to Spring Summer 2022, with pieces from Spring Summer 2014, Spring Summer 2015, Fall Winter 2021 and Spring Summer 2022. It includes kimono and happi shirts, dotera and down jackets, wool coats, kerchief and bandana printed pieces, ballistic nylon bags and footwear.

Visvim garments carry the label with the style name and code on the inner label. We state the season in each listing when it can be confirmed.

Every piece in this collection is examined and authenticated in house in Vienna before it is listed. We ship worldwide with tracked delivery, and our showroom in Vienna can be visited by appointment. If you own Visvim pieces you would like to sell, see Consign with AKAIBU. If you are looking for a specific piece that is not listed, our Sourcing service can search for it.
