Maison Margiela

Maison Margiela is the name the house has carried since 2015, when John Galliano became creative director and Maison Martin Margiela was shortened. Galliano led the house until 2024 and combined its codes, the white stitches, the Tabi, the replica and the numbered lines, with his own theatrical tailoring and the Artisanal couture shows. Glenn Martens has been creative director since 2025. Pieces from the Martin Margiela years are listed separately under Maison Martin Margiela.

The AKAIBU archive holds Maison Margiela from Spring Summer 2015 to Spring Summer 2021, including Line 6 and MM6 pieces, cracked white leather biker jackets, parachute flight pants, pilled denim, printed shirts, knitwear and the oversized broken heart necklace.

Maison Margiela garments carry the white label with the circled line number and the care label with the season code, where the year followed by 01 stands for Spring Summer and 02 for Fall Winter.
