Dries Van Noten was born in Antwerp in 1958 and graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts there in 1980 as one of the Antwerp Six. His label, founded in 1986, is known for prints, embroidery, rich fabrics and a layered, relaxed way of dressing in both menswear and womenswear. The house remained independent until 2018, when Puig took a majority stake. Dries Van Noten retired from the runway after the Spring Summer 2025 menswear show, and Julian Klausner took over the collections.

The AKAIBU archive holds Dries Van Noten from the 1990s to Fall Winter 2020, with the largest group from Fall Winter 2014 and further pieces from Spring Summer 2014, Fall Winter 2012, Fall Winter 2018 and Fall Winter 2015. It includes floral and palm printed pieces, embroidered and sequin bombers, biker and moto jackets, denim, silk shirts, wool and corduroy trousers, dresses and bags.

Dries Van Noten garments carry the season code on the inner label and are mostly made in Belgium, Italy or Portugal. We state the season in each listing when it can be confirmed.

Every piece in this collection is examined and authenticated in house in Vienna before it is listed. We ship worldwide with tracked delivery, and our showroom in Vienna can be visited by appointment.
