Maison Martin Margiela showed the 5 Zip leather biker jacket for Spring Summer 2008, and it has since become one of the most recognizable designs in the house's menswear output. The name refers to the five zips that organize the closure and pockets of a pared back biker silhouette, finished with a snap collar rather than the wide lapels of a classic perfecto.
