Jean Paul Gaultier 1987 Medusa Print Jacket

A printed jacket by Jean Paul Gaultier from 1987, cut short and boxy with a wide notched collar, a double breasted front closed with two rows of brown buttons and long sleeves without cuffs. The lightweight cloth carries an all over print of cracked, mosaic like stone in olive green and yellow with dark brown fissures, and at the centre back a stencilled Medusa face in yellow and black looks out from the pattern, framed by leaves and snakes. The jacket is unlined, so the print shows through on the inside, and the woven Jean Paul Gaultier label sits at the neck. Good condition with slight flaws as pictured, including a small damaged spot near a button. Size 40.
