Jean Paul Gaultier 90s Embellished Silk Jacket

Jean Paul Gaultier spent the 1990s at the center of Paris fashion, staging some of the decade's most discussed runway shows before founding his own haute couture line in 1997. This embellished silk jacket dates from that period. Decorative handwork ran through Gaultier's output on both sides of the couture divide, from beading and embroidery to applied ornament.
