Maison Martin Margiela 90s Coat

A coat from the 1990s output of Maison Martin Margiela, the Paris house Martin Margiela founded in 1988. Through most of that decade the label marked its garments only with a blank white tag held by four visible stitches, sewn loosely so it could be removed and the piece worn unbranded. Numbered labels did not arrive until 1997.
