Chanel 2000s by Karl Lagerfeld Laced Mules

Laced mules from Chanel's 2000s collections, designed during Karl Lagerfeld's decades at the house, where he held the creative direction from 1983 until 2019. Lagerfeld brought the mule onto the Chanel runway in the 1990s and kept returning to the open heel silhouette in the seasons that followed. Here the shape closes over the foot with lacing rather than a plain vamp.
