Balmain SS08 Runway by Christophe Decarnin Eagle Embellished Chain Fringed Goat Suede Dress

A runway dress from Balmain Spring Summer 2008, the season Christophe Decarnin worked through a haute hippie register of fringe, feathers and washed out fabrics. Goat suede forms the body, finished with an embellished eagle motif and chain fringe. Decarnin had been appointed to the house in 2005, which places this among the earliest collections of his tenure.
