Balmain AW10 by Christophe Decarnin Suede Teddy Jacket

Balmain launched menswear under Christophe Decarnin in January 2009, and this suede teddy jacket belongs to the Autumn Winter 2010 collection that followed. Decarnin, appointed in 2005 and gone by early 2011, built the menswear line around varsity silhouettes, military outerwear and slim tailoring shown during Paris Men's Week. The teddy jacket was among the shapes he returned to most often, cut here in suede.
