Balmain SS09 by Christophe Decarnin Distressed Embellished Dyed Denim

Christophe Decarnin's Spring Summer 2009 collection for Balmain brought ripped, bleached denim and heavy crystal embellishment onto the Paris runway and set the rock and roll direction of his tenure at the house. These slim jeans from that season are dyed in a cloudy black and grey wash with distressed rips across the legs, a large crystal cross set in black beading at the right hip and a cluster of crystal stones running down the left thigh. They are cut in 100% cotton.
