Supreme was founded in New York in 1994 by James Jebbia as a skate shop on Lafayette Street and grew into the most influential streetwear label of its generation through weekly drops, the box logo and collaborations with artists, brands and photographers. The company was sold to VF Corporation in 2020 and to EssilorLuxottica in 2024.
