Jil Sander founded her label in Hamburg in 1968 and became the reference for purist, precisely cut tailoring in the 1990s. After the sale to the Prada Group she left the house twice, and Raf Simons was creative director from 2005 to 2012, bringing colour, couture volumes and a conceptual minimalism to the house. Lucie and Luke Meier led Jil Sander from 2017 to 2025.

The AKAIBU archive holds Jil Sander pieces from the Raf Simons years, including Fall Winter 2008 marble print shirts, oversized tunics, jackets and logo pieces.

Jil Sander garments carry the season on the inner label and are made in Italy. We state the season in each listing when it can be confirmed.

Every piece in this collection is examined and authenticated in house in Vienna before it is listed. We ship worldwide with tracked delivery, and our showroom in Vienna can be visited by appointment. If you own Jil Sander pieces you would like to sell, see Consign with AKAIBU. If you are looking for a specific piece that is not listed, our Sourcing service can search for it.
