Prada FW11 Runway Illusion Shield Oversized Sunglasses

Oversized shield sunglasses from Prada's Fall Winter 2011 runway, the season that put the illusion shield on the face of nearly every look. The frame is a single translucent amber acetate mask that wraps from temple to temple, with a matching gradient lens and the Prada name set into each arm. On the runway the shields were worn with the collection's fur, snakeskin and striped tailoring, and they went on to become one of the most recognisable Prada eyewear pieces of the decade.
