Gucci SS99 by Tom Ford Metal Clasp Backslit Top

Tom Ford's late 1990s Gucci ran on hardware, the engraved rectangular clasp that closed halters, jersey dresses and leather waistbands from Spring Summer 1998 onward and became the signature of the house's most photographed years. This halter is cut in white viscose jersey with two rolled straps that meet at the nape in that clasp, engraved Gucci, and the back opens in a long slit that runs from the neckline down between the shoulder blades. It was produced for Gucci by Zamasport in Italy and carries the black Gucci label inside.
