Azzedine Alaïa 90s Pastel Cropped Sweater

Azzedine Alaïa built much of his work in the late 1980s and 1990s on stretch knit, a material he cut and shaped with the precision of tailoring. This cropped sweater from the 1990s is knitted in soft pastels: a pale butter yellow front with pink ribbed trim at the neck, cuffs and hem, and a blush pink back set against green sleeves and a green waistband. Short sleeves and a cropped length keep the fit close to the body.
