Edra Boa 2002 Couch by Campana Brothers for Edra

Fernando and Humberto Campana designed the Boa for the Italian manufacturer Edra in 2002. The sofa has no internal frame: over one hundred metres of velvet tubing, filled with polyurethane chips and goose down, are knotted into shape by hand, a job carried out by four craftsmen working in coordination. The resulting tangle of cushions can be sat on, stretched out on or curled up inside.
