Maison Martin Margiela FW95 Reproduction Clergymans Anorak

In 1994 Maison Martin Margiela began reproducing garments sourced from flea markets and archives, remaking each one faithfully and tagging it with a white label noting its provenance, function and period. This anorak, reproduced from a clergyman's original, belongs to that project and dates to Autumn Winter 1995. The Paris house, founded in 1988, ran these reproductions as a recurring capsule within its collections rather than a one-off exercise.
