Helmut Lang FW02 Black Strapped Stingray Heels

Helmut Lang designed these heels for Fall Winter 2002, while he still ran his own label and was setting austere lines against unexpected materials. Stingray gives the shoe its surface, worked in black, and straps hold the construction across the foot. Lang left the company in 2005, placing this pair in the last years of his own tenure.
