Comme Des Garçons Homme Plus Comme des Garcons Homme Plus SS18 Reconstructed Transformable Top

This top comes from Comme des Garçons Homme Plus Spring/Summer 2018, the collection Rei Kawakubo titled What's on the Inside Matters and staged as a disco at the Salle Wagram in Paris, with models dancing on a raised stage under colored lights. Much of the season was built on inversion: jackets were sent out worn inside out so their linings became the visible surface, and garments were collaged together from contrasting fabrics. This piece follows the same logic of reconstruction, cut to be transformable and wearable in more than one configuration.
