Chanel SS22 Oversized Washed Denim Overcoat Sample

Virginie Viard's Spring Summer 2022 ready-to-wear for Chanel restaged the atmosphere of a 1980s fashion show, with models on a raised runway ringed by photographers, and it folded denim into the lineup alongside the house tweeds and ribbed knits. This overcoat comes from that season in a washed denim with an oversized cut. It exists as a sample, one of the garments made around a collection for fittings, showrooms or press rather than for the standard boutique run.
