A reconstructed black leather harness by Maison Martin Margiela from Autumn Winter 1992, an Artisanal piece from the earliest years of the house. The Artisanal line rebuilt existing garments and objects by hand in small numbers, and in 1992 that practice was still close to its starting point. Leather reworked into a harness form, made while the house was defining what reconstruction in fashion could mean. An archive piece from the foundation period of the Margiela project.
