Product Details

Maison Martin Margiela presented Spring/Summer 2004 in strict colour chapters, the show moving from white through red into black while the models' faces were covered by outsized wigs. This skirt comes from that season and follows its inside-out construction, with seams, facings and internal finishing turned to the outside of the garment. Exposing the workings of a piece had been part of the house vocabulary since its first shows in the late 1980s.
