Louis Vuitton 2003 Murakami Cherry Ballerinas

Takashi Murakami began working with Louis Vuitton under Marc Jacobs on the Spring Summer 2003 runway, and the Cherry Blossom series followed that same year, scattering smiling blossoms across the house monogram. These ballerinas belong to that 2003 chapter of the collaboration. In Paris the Cherry Blossom release sold out within hours, while New York recorded a waiting list of around seven thousand names.
