Helmut Lang 90s Chained Heels

Heels from Helmut Lang's 1990s output, when the Austrian designer was defining the decade's minimalism first from Vienna and then from New York. Chain detailing supplies the industrial note Lang often set against otherwise austere design, drawing on uniforms, harness straps and workwear. He relocated the label from Vienna to New York in 1998.
