Christian Dior SS02 by John Galliano Studded Strapped Leather Heeled Boots

Christian Dior made these heeled boots for spring summer 2002, the ready-to-wear season John Galliano built around a street driven direction, commonly referred to as the Street Chic collection. Studs and wrapping straps cover the leather uppers, consistent with the hardware heavy accessories the house turned out in the early 2000s. Galliano had led Dior since 1996, and by this point his ready-to-wear was folding references to streetwear, denim and club dress into the house's codes.
