Maison Martin Margiela Artisanal Reconstructed T-Shirt Dress

This dress comes from Maison Martin Margiela's Artisanal line, under which existing garments and found materials are reworked entirely by hand in the house's Paris atelier. Here a t-shirt has been reconstructed into a dress, following the practice of transformation that has defined Artisanal production since 1988. Because every piece depends on the specific garments it started from, no two Artisanal items are identical.
