Fendi 2000s Black Fur Baguette Bag

Fur was Fendi's founding trade when the house opened in Rome in 1925, and the Baguette gave that heritage a new format. Silvia Venturini Fendi designed the compact shoulder bag in 1997, sized to tuck under the arm like the bread it is named after, and through the early 2000s the house produced it in hundreds of materials from beaded silk to denim. The fur versions sat closest to Fendi's original craft. This example from the 2000s comes in black fur.
