Carol Christian Poell FW97 Rubberized High Waist Denim Pants

Carol Christian Poell had been running his Milan label for barely two years when these pants appeared in his autumn winter 1997 collection. A trained tailor from Austria, Poell founded the operation with his partner Sergio Simone in 1995. His early seasons already leaned on unconventional material processes, among them the rubberized coating applied to this denim. The pants are cut with a high waist.
