Visvim F.I.L. Indigo Camping Trailer Ruunpe Patchwork Red Kimono Wool Overcoat

Visvim reserves its Indigo Camping Trailer line for experimental small runs, pieces built by Hiroki Nakamura's team around natural dyes and reclaimed fabrics and sold through the label's F.I.L. stores. This overcoat draws its kimono shape from the ruunpe, a ceremonial robe of the Ainu people of northern Japan traditionally finished with bold contrasting applique. Here the form is executed in red wool with patchwork panels across the body.
