Maison Martin Margiela Miss Deanna Viscose Longsleeve

Knitted in viscose, this longsleeve carries the Miss Deanna name, the label of Deanna Ferretti Veroni, whose factory in Italy's Emilia region produced Maison Martin Margiela's knitwear from the mid 1990s onward. Ferretti's workshop also knitted for Kenzo, Yves Saint Laurent and Prada, but the Margiela partnership pushed furthest technically: at his request she developed yarns that could be heat moulded so that a new sweater held the imprint of elbows and shoulders, as though it had been worn for decades.
