Helmut Lang 90s Faux Fur Skirt

A faux fur skirt from Helmut Lang's 1990s output. The Vienna-born designer set much of that decade's tone with elementary silhouettes and a running experiment in synthetic materials, from laminated leather to coated satin and wet-look finishes. Faux fur belonged to the same vocabulary of deliberately artificial textiles, applied here to a skirt.
