Chanel Resort 2017 Cuba Silk Scarf

Chanel staged its Cruise 2017 show on the Paseo del Prado in Havana in May 2016, the first show the house had ever held in Latin America. Karl Lagerfeld drew the collection from Cuban imagery: classic American cars, the island's music, the pastel colours of the city's facades. Guests arrived in old convertibles and the presentation unfolded more like a public parade than a conventional runway. This silk scarf was produced as part of that collection.
